At a rally in Lahore on Sunday, accusing Singh of “deploying soldiers in Kashmir to shed the blood of innocents”, Salahuddin threatened to stop him.

On the other hand, JuD chief Hafiz Saeed has advised the Nawaz Sharif government and traders that all the business activities with India should remain suspended till the ‘independence of Kashmir’ from India.

The SAARC ministerial conference has been scheduled for August 4, 5.

According to reports, during this visit, Singh is expected to bluntly ask Pakistan to stop sponsoring acts of terror in India and also raise the issue of slow pace of probe into the Pathankot airbase terror attack, which was carried out by Pakistan-based terror group Jaish-e-Mohammad, and the trial into the Mumbai terror attack case.
