IPS Devendra Kumar Pathak on Wednesday appointed as the Chairman ceasefire monitoring group with Head Quarters in Kohima (Nagaland).
In the new role, DK Pathak will monitor the implementation of agreed ground rules of ceasefire with NSCN/IM and NSCN/KN and NSCN/R in Nagaland.
Born on March 1, 1956, Devendra Kumar Pathak belongs to the 1979 batch of the Indian Police Service.
During this tenure, he has served in various positions in Meghalaya Police, Assam Police.
He has also served as Chief Vigilance Officer with Oil India Ltd, New Delhi. CRPF as Inspector General Srinagar, CRPF as IG SAF/Cobra Sector, IG(Pers) CRPF HQ, Addl Director General (Trg) at FHQ, Addl Director General (HQ) New Delhi, Special Director General, CRPF, J&K Zone and as Special Director General, BSF.
