Snapchat CEO Evan Spiegal may have bitten off more than he could chew when he called India, the second most populous country in the world, as too poor to interest messaging app Snapchat.
A recent report in the Variety, quoted the CEO as saying “This app is only for rich people. I don’t want to expand into poor countries like India and Spain.”
Soon after the statement by Spiegal, angry Twitterati slammed the CEO with many even calling for a boycott of the messaging app. View tweets below:
