A major security lapse at Delhi’s Rajendra Nagar metro station occured when unidentified assailants looted Rs. 12 Lakh from the control room where the ticketing counter is located and stabbed a metro official.

According to reports, two suspects entered the station with a knife even before the first metro train services started for the day.

While it is not clear whether the attack has been caught on camera, police is examining all CCTV cameras at the station to trace the suspects.
