Lyricist and former Rajya Sabha MP Javed Akhtar is known for his eloquent words, whether they are for poetry, lyrics or tweets on social and political issues, but a typing error on a recent tweet on the Malegaon blast case accused made him fodder for twitter trolls when he typed INA instead of NIA.
Javed Akhtar tweeted: Aseem Anand or Prohit . The humane , compassionate and kind attitude of INA towards them has really touched my heart . Wow !!!

National Investigative Agency (NIA) had informed the Supreme Court on Monday that custody of Lt Colonel Shrikant Purohit, accused in the Malegaon blast case was no longer mandatory as a charge sheet had been filed. Also under investigation by NIA, Swami Aseemanand had been acquitted in Ajmer Dargah blast and received bail in the Hyderabad Mecca Masjid blast. Within hours of Akhtar’s tweet, he was promptly trolled for his error:
@Javedakhtarjadu At least get the agency name right before you unleash your bias. It’s NIA

@Javedakhtarjadu INA ?? It’s a big market in Delhi. You did a research on a market’s attitude? 🤔
