Keeping its promise of launching the Mi 5 by April, Xiaomi is all set to launch the new flagship smartphone on March 31.
The launch event will take place in New Delhi and the company has already sent out press invites.
Earlier this month, at the Redmi Note 3 launch, Hugo Barra, vice president Xiaomi Global announced that the flagship Mi 5 smartphone will be launched in India in April.
The Mi 5 was unveiled in China at 1999 Yuan or approximately Rs 21,000 and could be priced at under Rs 25,000 in India.

It incorporates a fingerprint and infrared sensor.
It is equipped with a 16MP rear camera with dual tone LED flash and a 4MP front snapper.
