Ahead of giving a tough competition to the telecom operator in the country by offering free data and call, now Reliance seems to make it tough for Indian and Chinese smartphone brands too. The Reliance Jio is said to be planning to launch 4G VoLTE-enabled feature phone that too priced between Rs 999 and Rs 1,500 only.
A photograph of the upcoming Reliance Jio’s feature phone has been surfaced on social media, as a user named @rajathkumarkr has shared an image of the phone on twitter. The image shows how the alleged cheapest 4G VoLTE phone by Reliance Jio may look like.

In the image, smartphone can be seen with four buttons on the top with ‘Jio’ buttons. Apparently, the buttons seems to give one click access to MyJio, JioTV, JioCinema and JioMusic applications.
The user has also shared that the phone will be priced at Rs 1,500. The image suggests that the device is a testing unit.
According to reports, the Reliance Jio is said to penetrate deeper in the Indian market with their upcoming ultra-budget feature phone. It is also believed that the upcoming feature phone will also bear a front as well as rear cameras.
According to previous reports, the feature phones by Reliance are also said to come powered by Spreadtrum chipset.
However, Reliance already has its Lyf-branded smartphones in the market and the cheapest Lyf-branded samrtphone is priced at Rs 2,999.
