Vodafone may announce an explosive new offers, giving a tough competition to its rival Reliance Jio. In the new pack, Vodafone is likely to give its users unlimited calls and 28GB 4G data at just Rs 346 per month.
On the other hand, Reliance Jio Prime offers unlimited calls/SMS + 1GB 4G data per day at Rs 303 per month.
Vodafone has an outer edge for its users as compared to Jio. Reliance Jio’s offers are only available for Prime customers, while Vodafone does not have any such restriction.
For those who are unaware, Jio Prime offers users the chance to continue enjoying unlimited data till 31st March 2018, albeit with a fair usage cap of 1GB/day by shelling out Rs 303/month. There is also a Rs 499/month plan which offers 2GB of 4G data a day.
In order to become a Prime customer, a user has to pay a flat entry fees of 99 rupees. The catch is that Jio Prime is only valid for existing Jio users or those who get a new SIM activated on or before 31st March 2017.
However, Reliance Jio also have plans for non-prime customers. Jio gives a paltry 2.5GB of 4G data along with unlimited calls/SMS for Rs 303/month for non-prime users.
Vodafone will also offer double data (56GB) and double validity (56 days) the first time a user activates this pack – 1GB of 4G data daily for 56 days at just Rs 346 might just be the deal of the century.
Sanjay Bafna, a user on Twitter, gave this information in a tweet. He also claims that there is a daily voice call cap of 300 calls along with the 1GB per day data limit.
