Sony finally revealed PS4 Pro , PlayStation Neo to the world on Wednesday. It will available for sale from November for $399.
Earlier codenamed as the PS4 Neo, it will have double the GPU power and will be used AMD’s Polaris architecture.
PS4 architect Mark Cerny claims it also adopts several features beyond it.
First rumored back at GDC 2016 earlier this year as PS4K and PS4.5, the console was said to have eight Jaguar cores clocked at 2.1 GHz, 36 GCN compute units at 911 MHz and 8 GB GDDR5 at 218 GB/s.
will also take advantage of the richer colors of HDR technology. High Dynamic Range supports deeper, richer color and lighting.
All these improvements aside, the PS4 Pro is really just a mid-cycle refresh rather than a major leap forward. This comes as no surprise.
