The Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath government has reduced the security cover on several opposition leaders while taking it away from some entirely, adding salt on the wounds of opposition leaders that faced a ignominious defeat in the UP assembly elections.
A total of 151 VIPs had been enjoying extra security out of which the security cover has been withdrawn from 105 and downgraded for 46.
