Kuldeep, a visually impaired student from Banda (UP), who won the Gold Medal in the recently concluded Commonwealth Championship in South Africa, returns to India alongwith other teammates.
The Indian Blind Judo Team which had recently gone to participate in the Commonwealth Judo Championships in Nelson Mandela Metropole University, Port Elizabeth, South Africa from April 23 to 28, returned home with four Gold and one Bronze.
The Gold was won by Kuldeep (UP), Jaydeep Kumar Hridaya Singh (Maharashtra), Ravi Vijayashanthi (Tamil Nadu) and Mani Susheela (Tamil Nadu).
The Bronze was won by Janakiraman Manoharan (Tamil Nadu).
The participating countries were India, England, Scotland, Northern Ireland, Estonia, Mauritius, South Africa, Great Britain, Mozambik and Colorado.
