Mourad Laaochraoui, brother of one of the Brussels bomber, is all set to join the contingent for Rio Olympics starting from August 5. His elder brother Najim, 24, is one of the three bombers which shed blood on Brussels Airport on March 22.
Najim was an electromechanics trainee, radicalised online and joined ISIS in 2013. He was allegedly held responsible for preparing explosive belts used in the attack which claimed 32 lives.
Mourad is set to continue his career best performance at the Rio Olympics after he triumphed in Montreux, Switzerland, securing the first position with a gold medal in 54kg weight category.
Mourad said in an interview that his elder brother was a good man and had been radicalised to join terror related activities under ISIS.
