Bastian Schweinsteiger, football heavyweight from German national team who also plays from English club Manchester United, announced his retirement from international Football on Friday.
Bastian, a right-footed central midfielder and the captain of German National team brought an end to his international carrier. He was born on August 1 1984, started his early career as a wide midfielder and later became captain in September 2014.
In his entire career he has played about 500 matches and scored 68 International goals. He has spent 13 seasons at Bayern Munich. Playing for national team he has scored 24 goals and earned over 100 Caps for Germany.
He came into Manchester United, renowned English club in 2015. Trophies in his bag include, eight Bundesliga Titles, Seven DFB-Potal titles, a UEFA Champions League Title, and a FIFA World Cup Title.
The German footballer married tennis player Ana Ivanovic last month, reports foottheball.com.
