Gujarat Lions bowled out for 158 after being asked to bat first by the RCB in the first qualifier of the ninth edition of the Indian Premier League in Bengaluru today.
For RCB, Shane Watson was the pick of the bowlers for picking 4/29.
Virat Kohli’s-led RCB now required 159 in 20 overs to win the first qualifier.

The Suresh Raina-led Gujarat Lions entered the face-off between the top two IPL teams with nine wins and five losses from 14 matches. It stands on the top of the points table with 18 points while RCB won eight matches and lost six out of 14 with 16 points, to be in the second place in the league stage.
Both the teams went into the match with an unchanged playing XI.
