India won first ODI against New Zealand by 6 wickets by scoring 194 runs in 33.1 overs in the first One-Day International match against New Zealand at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association stadium here on October 16.

Virat Kohli scored at 85 runs not out in 81 balls hitting 9 fours and 1 six, whereas Kedar Jadhav scored 10 runs not out in 12 balls.

Hardik Pandya won the title of ‘Man of the Match’, ahead of taking 3 wickets in the match.

Setting Target of 191 runs, New Zealand ended up scoring 190 runs in 45.3 overs in their innings.

India’s limited-overs skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni won the toss and elected to bowl first in the first ODI at Himachal Pradesh.
