WIIWest Indies cricket veterans Chris Gayle, Dwayne Bravo and Darren Sammy have questioned the selection of the West Indies ODI squad for next month’s triangular one-day series against Australia and South Africa.

They expressed surprise at Kieron Pollard and Sunil Narine being selected in the squad considering these two have not played the 50-over format for quite some time.

Gayle, Bravo and Sammy took to their Twitter handle to express the dissatisfaction and tweeted:

Pollard, who missed the World Twenty20 citing a knee injury, is a veteran of 91 one-day internationals (ODIs), with a batting average of 25.20 and a strike-rate of more than 93.
