Chile stormed into Copa America final in Chicago on Wednesday beating Colombia by 2-0 in the semi-finals that took more than four hours to complete.
Chile, who had downed Mexico with 7-0 in Saturday quarter-finals, scored twice in the opening 11-minutes to take a lead in the game.
Midfielder Charles Aranguiz opened the scoring in the 7th minute before Jose Pedro Fuenzalida made it 2-0 after 11 minutes.
However, the power-packed show had to be put on hold as thunderstorm lashed the city.
The spectators were asked to take shelter inside the stadium, leaving the ground empty. However, the second half of the match resumed after a delay of two hours and 25 minutes
at 10:25pm local time.
Both Chile and Colombia produced one of the most entertaining halfs of the football tournament.
