World Heritage sites are of outstanding value to humanity, as of 2016, the list has 1031 entries. Many of these entries are easily accessible to you if you have time and money. However, there are few that require guts and determined effort to be there.

1. Samarra Archaeological City-North-West Iraq

2. Ancient city of Aleppo – Syria
