depressionA recent report released by Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) has claimed that noise pollution cause depression and time panic attack.

The report says “noise level beyond the prescribed limits of 55 dB during day and 45 dB during the night can cause aggression, hypertension, and tinnitus.”

Tinnitus is a situation when a person feels something is ringing in his ears; however, no external sound is present.

CPCB reports says that Tinnitus can later lead to forgetfulness, severe depression and at times panic attack.

CPCB released the report to raise the alarm for states across the nation to take effective measures for curbing the noise pollution.
