After the long 15 years, Subway has finally changed its logo. On Friday, the sandwich chain unveiled its new design that has significantly changed the major element of its identity since 2001.

The old logo used a bold, thick font, while the new logo is more minimalist. The signature arrows on the “S” and “Y,” however, will remain.

Subway calls the new logo the “next step” in the sandwich chain’s evolution.
