1. Sabarmati Ashram

Sabarmati Ashram, which is also known as Gandhi Ashram, was one of the residences of Indian freedom fighter Mahatma Gandhi. The Ashram is located in the Sabarmati suburb of Ahmedabad.

2. Kankaria Lake

Kankaria Lake is the second largest lake in the city. Located in the Maninagar area, the lake has multiple tourist attractions situated around it including a zoo, tethered balloon ride, water park, etc. Every year, in the last week of December, a Kankaria Carnival is held at the lake.
