Yadav Family Feud Intensifies: Mulayam Says Family United, While Akhilesh Remains Missing

Samajwadi Party Supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav on Tuesday addressed a press conference clearing doubts over the party feud that had been playing out over past few days. Accompanied by Shivpal Yadav, son Akhilesh Yadav was conspicuously missing from the press briefing.

During the briefing, Mulayam Singh emphasised the unity within the party, saying “our family is one, party is one, power is one.”

Confirming that Akhilesh will remain CM, Mulayam said “the majority was in my name in 2012, we made Akhilesh CM. Now its upto him to carry out responsibilities.”

Regarding the upcoming UP Elections, Mulayam expressed that “I have full faith in people, they will support us again, give us a mandate and decide who CM will be”.

The feud which escalated when son and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav ousted his uncle and state president Shivpal Yadav along with three other ministers from the cabinet, but all four were later reinstated.
