Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has not left any opportunity to slam the demonetisation move taken by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and has extended his firing to other BJP leaders. However, when he took to twitter to attack Union Minister Mahesh Sharma, he was silenced in one tweet.
Kejriwal tweeted about the recent wedding in Sharma’s family “BJP leader Mahesh Sharma is celebrating his daughter’s wedding. Are all the payments being made through cheques? Is the wedding taking place with Rs 2.5 lakhs? How were so many notes exchanged?.”
Sharma tweeted a fitting response “Get your facts right. It’s my son’s wedding. And yes, all payments are being made through banks.”
भाजपा सांसद महेश शर्मा की बेटी की शादी है। क्या सारी चेक से पेमेंट कर रहे हैं? क्या ढाई लाख रुपए में शादी कर रहे हैं? उनके नोट कैसे बदले गए?

Kejriwal has made persistent protests against the demonetisation of the old Rs 500 and Rs 1000 currency, in person, at rallies and online claiming the inconvenience of the common man. He also stated that many families in the country were being forced to postpone or cancel weddings solely because of the demonetisation.
