A NIA Special Court on Tuesday sent the seven Islamic State (IS) suspects, that were arrested by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) in an anti-terror raid in Hyderabad
earlier this month, to judicial custody till August 24.
A Hyderabad Court last week had sent one of the Islamic State terror suspects arrested in Hyderabad in June this year to judicial custody till July 26.
Earlier this month, NIA made some stark revelations about the way the five ISIS sympathisers, who were arrested in Hyderabad in an anti-terror raid on June 29, were planning to launch a terror attack in India.
According to NIA, one of the five suspects, Fahad had procured 9 Aircel pre-activated SIM cards from a promotional temporary stall at Charminar bus stop in Hyderabad. He had also purchased 5 mobile phones from a mobile shop at Charminar bus stop for their planning and operations.
