After visiting the Pathankot on Tuesday where they were given restricted access to the airbase, Pakistan JIT is now back in Delhi to hold another round of talks with NIA.
During the talk, National Investigation Agency (NIA) is expected to nail down Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) chief Maulana Masood Azhar’s involvement in the attack.
Moreover, it is expected to seek access to Azhar, his brother Rauf and some key players like Kashif Jaan, identified by Indian investigators as the main handler of Masood Azhar.
Armed with evidence in the form of call details of the slain terrorists and intercepts, Indian investigators believe the trail leads to JeM bosses.
In Previous interaction session, the NIA officials asked JIT, whether any Letters Rogatory would be sent by Islamabad for the collection of evidence against Masood Azhar.
On the other hand, JIT is also expected to interrogate Punjab SP Salwinder Singh driver Rajesh Verma and cook Madan Gopal today.
Rajesh and Madan have already reached Delhi.
The Pathankot airbase was attacked by the terrorists on January 2 killing seven security personnel.
