Two militants suspected to be form Jaish-e-Mohammad terrorist group have been arrested today in Kanispora area of Baramulla district in Jammu and Kashmir, while a local villager suspected to be a spy of Pakistan was also arrested on October 21 in Jammu.
The militants were arrested during a joint research operation launched on night of October 21 by the 52 Rashtriya Rifles and Special operation Group (SOG) Baramulla.
Ammunitions including AK 47, a pistol and grenades were recovered from the militants, and most importantly Jaish and Hizbul Mujahideen stamps were also recovered from them.
Whereas, the local villager, who was arrested in the charges espionage from near the international border in Samba district, two Pakistani SIM cards and a map was also recovered from him.
The spy was identified as Bodh Raj of Changiia in Arnia tehsil of Jammu district.
