Islamist terror group Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) has issued a threat to politicians and Kashmiris, who support the armed forced in the state.
According to TOI, the terror group launched a seven minute video where a masked man described Hizbul commander Burhan Wani as a ‘shaheed-e-millat’ (martyr of the community).
TOI reported that the masked man issued a threat to pro-India politicians and Kashmiris who would side with the security forces in the valley while saying, “This is the last warning for pro-India politicians and youth who work for the police and Army. Don’t think we don’t know your names. We have your addresses as well,” as he stood against a wall with Quranic verses inscribed.
The man also listed the names of people the group may target and urged them to join with the his cause.
The video, that was originally shared on Facebook, was further widely shared on Whatsapp.
The JeM, a banned terror group, is responsible for the 2001 attacks on the Indian Parliament in New Delhi.
