In a major challenge for the security agencies in the country, Al Qaeda in the Indian
Subcontinent (AQIS) on Monday directed all Indian Muslims to carry out attacks against
government officials in India.
AQIS chief Maulana Asim Umar issued a sermon asking all its ment to carry out ‘lone-wolf’
attacks against Indian Adminsitrative Service (IAS) and Indian Police Service (IPS) officials.
“Kill senior officers of institutions and administrative departments that get people to incite riots. Target IPS and IAS officers, cause them financial losses,” the al Qaeda chief said.
The leader asked its men to follow example of its brothers in Syria.
