BJP MP Subramanian Swamy took the matter of the long-standing dispute over Ayodhya Ram Mandir to the Supreme Court earlier on Tuesday which asked the parties to come to an amicable decision.
After the SC statement, Subramanian Swamy spoke to the media and explained his views. He described that as ‘Namaz’ can be read from any place according to precedents from Muslim-majority nations like Saudi Arabia, the Masjid should be constructed nearby while the disputed ‘Ram Janmabhoomi’ land should be used to construct Ram Mandir. He also explains why a Supreme Court verdict is needed.
