Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan seems to have taken inspiration from Tamil Nadu chief minister J Jayalalithaa and Odisha chief minister Navin Patnaik for a subsidised meal programme for the poor.
According to reports, Chouhan is planning to launch a subsidised meal programme for the poor in the state. On the plate will be a healthy and filling ‘thali’ that will come for just Rs 10.
Chouhan will be the third chief minister to opt for such programme. While Tamil Nadu and Odisha were the first states.
According to reports, Chouhan is expected to make a formal announcement about this Programme on September 25, the birth anniversary of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay .
