Rashtrapati Bhavan is being readied ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Cabinet reshuffle, which is likely to take place on Thursday.
According to reports, arrangements are being made at the Ashoka Hall for a ceremony on Thursday that will be followed by lunch for the attending dignitaries.
While Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to keep the key portfolios unchanged, the reshuffle may be done keeping in view the regional and caste balances for his council
Reports further state that while Union Minister of State for Chemical and Fertilizers, Nihal Chand could be dropped, MoS for Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Sanjeev Balyan could
be elevated to a minister with independent charge.
Also, Minority Affairs Minister Najma Heptulla could be dropped from the government.
