The speech of Home Minister Rajnath Singh, who is in Islamabad to participate in the SAARC ministerial conference, was blacked out as no media was allowed to cover it.

Both Singh and his counterpart Chaudhary Nisar did not attend the lunch at the SAARC conference.

Singh was part of the joint delegation of the Interior/Home Ministers of SAARC nations.

Rajnath had arrived in Islamabad on Wednesday to attend the SAARC Home Ministers’ Meet to underline the need for meaningful cooperation among South Asian countries.

While addressing the delegation of the Interior/Home Ministers of SAARC nations, the Home Minister strongly opposed terrorism and said, “There should be strongest of action not only against terrorists but also against organisations, individuals, nations who support terror.”

“Mere condemnation of terrorism is not enough,” he added.
