Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Thursday opposed the “surge pricing” in Rajdhani, Shatabdi and Duronto express trains and demanded its roll back.
Kejriwal who was travelling to Ludhiana from Delhi on September 8 tweeted:
“I am in Shatabdi right now. Spoke to several people. Everyone is against Modi government’s surge pricing,” the Chief Minister said in another tweet.

This reply by passenger was shared more than 6,000 times on twitter, including the Twitter handle of Ministry of Indian Railways. This move by the Indian Railway received a lot of flak. Later, Indian Railways deleted it, after realising the goof-up.
