Poster War: Madhya Pradesh Congress Alleges Corruption During Simhastha kumbh

In a fresh attack on Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s government through posters, Madhya Pradesh Congress has alleged corruption charges against the Chief Minister during Simhastha kumbh.

The posters featured Chouhan and another minister with enormous amount of money available and some texts.

Posters that were put up at Cong office building in Bhopal were later removed by the Municipal corporation & police.

Earlier, alleging corruption in the congregation, Congress demanded that the Shivraj Singh government must come out with a white paper on irregularities during Simhastha. The BJP, however, has refuted all corruption charges.

In a letter to chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, senior Congress legislator and former minister Govind Singh said that the government should order a fair probe into financial irregularities during Maha Kumbh.

Refuting charges, state health minister and government spokesperson Narottam Mishra said that Congress has a tendency to find faults in every initiative taken by BJP government, but all allegations are baseless.
