The Winter Session of Parliament enters its 7th Day after 6 consecutive days of adjournment motions in both of the Houses due to protests over demonetisation. Rajya Sabha demands the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself to discuss the demonetisation issue, who is yet to attend a session of winter Parliament. Lok Sabha on the other hand demands a discussion over demonetisation under rule 56 which facilitates voting but government has not agreed to rule 56.
