Marking the World Environment Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday called on the nation to keep take a pledge to protect the environment and live in harmony with the nature.

“On World Environment Day, a commitment to protect our environment & live in harmony with nature,” PM Modi wrote in a tweet.

“On World Environment Day, let us pledge to collectively work towards conserving precious environment resources.”

“Let us live in harmony with Mother Nature and keep our beloved Earth clean and green,” he wrote in a series of tweets.

The Prime Minister is currently in Qatar as a part of his five-nation tour. After Qatar, the PM will travel to Switzerland, where he is likely to seek support of the Swiss leadership for India’s membership in the Nuclear Suppliers Group (NSG).
