Delhi Health Minister Satyendra Jain has urged the Union Minister of Health and Family Welfare JP Nadda to reserve 10% beds for patients suffering from Dengue and Chikungunya in the hospitals run by Central government.

The minister also assured Delhiites that the beds are available in hospitals under Delhi Govt and the patients suffering from chikungunya or dengue can avail treatment there.

Jain also requested Delhiites to devote 30 mins from their day to clean stagnant water in an around their house as precautionary measures.

Chikungunya and dengue continue to wreak havoc in Delhi with the number of deaths from the two vector-borne diseases reportedly climbing to 30 so far.
