BJP MLA on Wednesdays said it was a ‘reaction to action’ over beating up of two Muslim women in Madhya Pradesh in the name of cow protection.
A Hindu radical group on Tuesday beat two Muslim women at Madhya Pradesh’s Mandsaur railway station for allegedly carrying beef.

While speaking to media, BJP MLA Yashpal Sisodia said, “Those women are criminals and it was women who beat them up, so it’s a reaction to an action.”
Taking a strong note of the incident, Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Bhupender Singh said that action would be initiated against those who have attempted to take the law in their hands.

The video of the incident was captured by one of the many spectators who did nothing to stop the attack.
The video shows women being kicked, slapped and abused by a mob.
They were cornered by a crowd that is heard screaming “Gau Mata Ki Jai (Hail holy cow)” and were thrashed for nearly half an hour before the police led them away.
According to reports, the police were at the railway station to arrest the women as they had been tipped off about the women travelling with a large quantity of beef to sell.
