INSTwo people were killed and two others injured in a toxic gas leak on board the aircraft carrier INS Vikramaditya on Friday.

Shipwright Artificer Rakesh Kumar and Mohandas Kolambkar, an employee of M/s Royal Marine succumbed due to gas inhalation, said Indian Navy.

According to the reports, the leak happened in the sewage treatment plant of the aircraft carrier.

INS Vikramaditya is India’s largest aircraft carrier with an overall length of about 284 metres and a maximum beam of about 60 metres.
