With the Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan losing momentum, Bollywood took charge of the campaign with a short film released on Wednesday where actress Kangana Ranaut impersonates as Goddess Lakshmi.
The film, titled ‘Don’t Let Her Go’, spreads a hard-hitting message in the voice of Amitabh Bachchan, that disappeared behind the defaced walls of our classrooms, ‘Cleanliness is next to Godliness’.
‘Queen’ actress Kangana Ranaut portrays the Hindu Goddess of Wealth Lakshmi in the film, who disappears in the presence of anyone who litters.
The short film, directed by Pradeep Sarkar, features the hard-hitting voice of Amitabh Bachchan and also includes other famous stars like Isha Koppikar, Omkar Kapoor and Ravi Kishan.
Many people took to twitter to praise the clever promotion of the campaign.
U throw dirt and simultaneously throw laxmiji #DontLetHerGo
