A three-year-old boy, who fell into a borewell in Gwalior district of Madhya Pradesh on Friday and was rescued on Saturday evening has been declared dead in the hospital.

According to reports, the boy fell into a 25-30 feet deep borewell while playing on the field on Friday night. The rescue operations with JCB’s and manual labours soon after his grandmother raised an alarm.

The concern of the rescue team were raised by the fact the boy lay motionless inside the borewell while a several foot-long snake was moving around him.

Pictures of a snake with the boy in borewell were captured and have made the rescue operations more critical. Rescue teams have decided to dig deep with JCB’s along with the pipe to rescue the child with minimum risks taken.

He was rescued on Saturday evening and taken to a nearby hospital, where he was declared dead.
