He claims he had shown his work to Modi, who had personally recommended him to officials for a loan under Prime Minister Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP) to start a factory.

But, he claims, banks refused to grant him a subsidy.

On Thursday, Soni sent a letter to the Prime Minister alleging that in spite of his personal recommendations, he has been running from pillar to post for more than four months to get the loan.

He also alleged that bank officials were asking for the bribe.
