Around 200 judges from Telangana went on a 15-day mass casual leave on Tuesday
in protest of the High Court of Judicature at Hyderabad suspending nigh more judges on disciplinary grounds.
The High Court on Monday had suspended two judges in a similar manner in wake of
agitation by Telangana lawyers and judges against the provisional allocation of judical
officers between Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
According to reports, over 100 judges of Telangana courts on Sunday took out a procession in Hyderabad in protest against the provisional allocation.
The protesting lawyers and judges demanded that the judicial officers who are natives of Andhra Pradesh should be allocated within the same state.
