Shocking: Denied Admission By Hospital, Boy Dies On Father’s Shoulder In Kanpur

In a shocking incident in Kanpur, 12-year-old ‘Ansh’ lost his life on Monday, after being denied admission at a government-run hospital.

According to reports , Ansh was down with high fever since Sunday night, his father took him to the Lala Lajpat Rai Hospital; however, neither did the hospital staff admit the child, nor did they provide them with transportation facility to carry the child where he was suggested to go.

Ansh took his last breaths on his father’s shoulder, just 250 metres away from the children’s hospital.

As per a report in HT, the principal in LLR was not available for comment.

Doctors declared the child dead on arrival at the children’s hospital. Kumar then bundled his son’s body and walked home.

This is not the first incident of negligence and apathy from hospital staff towards dying patients.

Recently a tribal man in Odisha was also seen carrying the body of his dead wife for over 6km on his shoulders.
