The Supreme Court will hear the plea challenging the NEET Ordinance on July 7.
The matter was today listed before a CJI bench that referred the matter to the concerned bench.
Earlier the Apex Court on May 27 had refused to stay the NEET ordinance exempting Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Gujarat, Maharashtra and Punjab for this year.
The matter should be mentioned before CJI bench in July, said the court.
The plea was filed in the Supreme Court in May this year seeking quashing of a an ordinance which allows states to continue with their separate entrance tests for MBBS and BDS courses, besides uniform medical entrance test NEET, for academic year 2016-17.
