Russian Bahu Olga Re-unites With In Laws After Sushma, Akhilesh InterventionThe Russian woman Olga Efimenkova, who was protesting outside the house of her mother-in-law over alleged dowry demands and torture in Agra, has been united with the family after the Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj intervened in the matter.

Olga Efimenkova posted a video on Twitter in which she mentioned that she was protesting outside the house of her mother-in-law, who is an Indian.

After seeing the message, Swaraj tweeted requesting  Uttar Pradesh CM Akhilesh Yadav to help the woman. Following this, the CM replied, “The lady has been united with the family after counselling the in-laws… Ms Olga will get her portion of the house to live.”

Later, thanking Akhilesh, Swaraj tweeted: “Thank you Akhilesh ji for resolving this. Such incidents affect country’s image.”
