The National Investigation Agency (NIA) will on Saturday file a chargesheet against Dawood Ibrahim led D-Company members who tried to plot social unrest to destablise the Narendra Modi government.
The chargesheet would be filed in an Ahmedabad court, reports ANI.
Director General of NIA Sharad Kumar confirmed this news to the media agency.
“The NIA will file chargesheet in an Ahmedabad court against D-Company members who wanted to create unrest in country, tomorrow. The D-company members wanted to create communal tension in the country by targeting religious and RSS leaders,” Kumar told ANI in a telephonic conversation.
As per reports, the investigating agency would be filing a chargesheet against 10 D company members.
Reports suggest that the doctors treating Dawood have said his gangrene is in such an advanced stage that they would have no option but to amputate his legs soon.
