neet studentsCentre on Tuesday requested Supreme Court to allow the conduction of National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) in seven vernacular languages, on which the apex court said ‘will consider this’.

Earlier on Monday, SC ruled that all admissions in MBBS/BDS courses in government and private medical colleges or in deemed universities will be done this year only on the basis of National Eligibility Entrance Test, the Supreme Court also allowed phase 1 students to take phase 2 exam.

It further allowed the students who appeared in Phase 1 to appear in phase 2, subject to seeking an option from the said candidates to give up their candidature for NEET-I.
