Air India 191 flight, flying from Mumbai To Newark, New Jersey was diverted to Kazakhstan due to technical problem.
The flight took off from Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport in Mumbai on Thursday at 2:25am after nearly an hour’s delay and was scheduled to land at Newark airport at around 8am.
On Thursday morning, Air India tweeted about the emergency landing, saying it was due to “operational reasons”.

All passengers and crew on board are safe and the Boeing 777 is being inspected by a team of engineers.
The official denied that there was any fire or smoke emanating from the aircraft and said the diversion was due to “operational reasons”.
The aircraft is expected to take off for its onward journey to Newark, New Jersey within a couple of hours, the official added.
