Chairperson of the Women Commission on Tuesday will meet President Pranab Mukherjee in connection with the Motihari rape case in New Delhi.
Earlier on June 23 this year, a 21-year-old girl was brutally gang-raped at gunpoint in Bihar’s Motihari area.
According to reports, pistol and wooden particles were found inserted in her private parts.
The following day, the Police arrested two people in connection with the case, while three others remained absconding.
Also, the demonstrators blocked Motihari-Muzaffarpur National Highway 28 and burnt tyres near Pipra in East Champaran district
demanding speedy trial of the two arrested in connection with the gang-rape of the girl.
